Seven-string guitar wizard John Pizzarelli, who chats with his audience while he plays and sings classic jazz tunes, presented 2 shows at Scullers Jazz Club on September 18 and 19. We attended the 8:00 show on Saturday, September 19. It was an hour and half of non-stop music and repartee and anecdotes. 

John has recorded with many luminaries such as George Shearing, Rosemary Clooney and, of course, with his famous father guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli.

Pizzarelli and his wife, singer Jessica Moaskey, co-host the nationally syndicated weekly radio program Radio Deluxe with John Pizzarelli.

In 2012 World on a String: A Musical Memoir, an autobiography of Pizzarelli, co-written with Joseph Cosgriff, was published.
