Boston Ballet reawakens The Sleeping Beauty

The ballet is set to the classic Tchaikovsky score and is based on the British Royal Ballet production with choreography by Marius Petipa with additional choreography by Sir Frederick Ashton.

World Premiere: Maryinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg, Russia, Imperial Ballet, January 15, 1890

The beautiful sets and costumes complement an enchanting evening of dazzling dancers and glorious, melodic music.  It was a sparkling performance, a memory to treasure.
