Mary and Miara returned from an evening of dancing at the Gold Coast. Photo was taken by Ken, who "waited up" for Mom to return from a night out!

We had a wonderful experience, lots of fun, lots of togetherness, lots of Christmas warmth and cheer. I even went dancing one night at THE Gold Coast Ballroom at the gracious invitation of Miara, originally from the Boston area.
Ken and I stayed at the Gallery One Doubletree Suites, a very, very short walk to the Gallery One Mall with innumberable stores and a large food court, a short walk to my nephew Jack's condo and to many upscale restaurants. Our favorite was Seasons 52 with live music in the lounge area.
One day we took the Water Taxi (One of the stops was right outside our hotel.) on the Intracoastal Waterway. We were amazed by the waterfront mansions and megayachts. We alighted for lunch at stop #9. On Las Olas Boulevard we found a delightful restaurant called La Bonne Crêpe where we had a delicious lunch.
