Panama Canal and Mexican Riviera-February 2008

Cruise February 10/11-March 3, 2008—Miami to LA, LA to LA round-trip Mexican Riviera Miami, Grand Cayman, Cartegena (Columbia), transit Panama Canal, Caldera (Costa Rica), Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, LA February 18…Breaking News: Tom Brady’s parents, Tom Sr. and Galynn, are on board. This morning when we docked in Caldera, Costa Rica, a helicopter was waiting to pick them up to whisk them off to Tom Jr. and Giselle's home in Costa Rica for the day. They have to be back by 6:00 PM when we sail away. They have the same dinner seating as I do, and they are at a table for 6, not too far away from my table. They are a lovely couple, unassuming and friendly. I met a lady whose husband is a friend and business associate of Mr. Brady and the 2 couples are traveling together. The two men are both financial planners. I gather that the Bradys are very, very comfortable, but nothing like Tom and Giselle. Susan said that the Bradys regularly visit their new grandson. Susan lives in Santa Barbara (We were there on our California trip in 1987.) and the Bradys live in San Mateo, not far away. Tom Brady Jr. has 3 older sisters. Susan was very friendly and I probably could have questioned her more, but I restrained myself. Mexican Riviera LA, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, LA Vice Captain Dinner Table
